For the past couple of days, I cleaned out the sewing room.  It was good to get rid of some things I don't use to make room for the things I do use.  Of course it is a never ending process.  Today I was sewing together some of the left over batting pieces. Trying to get organized.  My machine made a funny noise and gave me the code that means the motor has stalled.  Why now?   My husband will take a look at it and probably figure it out, but at the moment he is sick.   Good day to be on the Longarm.

I am trying to put a signature at the end of my post.  I worked on that for a while then went to the sewing room and cut a few more pieces for the  brown and blue quilt I will be making for my brother.

I should be working on this quilt,
This is the blue quilt for my dear mother-in-law.   It is not a great picture.  I'll try ..to get a better one when it is actually complete.

I did finish a quilt for myself.
This is the canning days fabric from Connecting Threads.  I loved the fabric and wanted to try an easy to put together quilt I saw on You Tube  done by Missouri Star quilts.  You don't waste any fabric with this one.
Fort-eight 10-inch squares made a 54x72 inch quilt.

I am going to have to learn how to take better pictures.  It is pouring down rain here.

Frog quilt

Yesterday I finished piecing the frog quilt.  Today I finished the back.  Now to get it quilted.  Get in line little frogs.    This baby quilt was a distraction from a large quilt I'm working on.  Sometimes you just need a break from doing the same thing over and over again.

I also put a quilt  on the longarm.  I found it up in the closet.  Backing was made.  I made this quilt years and years ago., before I new much about quilting.  The light color is cotton/poly blend.  I actually thought about taking it all apart.   But why?  If the quilt police come, I guess I'll have some explaining to do.  I will post a picture later.

Mom's quilt

Wow I actually posted a picture. I made this quilt for my mom.  This is her second quilt from me.  She said she needed a second one for when she was washing the first one.

This is a picture of her first one.
